Emmanuel Macron on the state dinner was seen joking with football Player Mbappe about his proposed move to Real Madrid, at Elysee Palace. Mbappe was invited to the state dinner, where he met president Macron and the Emir of Qatar. Reports from RMC Sport suggest the Macron told Mbappe : " You’re going to create problems for us," with a smile on his face. This is thought and suggested to be directly related to his potential move to Real Madrid.

The past Between Mbappe and Macron

The rumours of Mbappe and Real Madrid have been around since 2021 and Macron has been a crucial influence on Mbappe's decisions. The President has previously admitted that he made Mbappe leave Los Blancos on 2021 to stay at PSG. At the moment all cards all aligned for Mbappe to leave and Macron has seemingly "surrendered" to Kylian's decision.
